Well I guess I start here

I am working at loosinf weight, I started Yoga and I am trying to follow an Ayurveda diet I am apparently big time Kapha and I am working at following the diet and so far so good.

I am at 267 lbs and 6'1" tall but I was 272 when I started so I guess so far so good. I also now have a treadmill to start on as well
 
Hi Justsit, I am new here too. Do you have a goal weight in mind? I am 6' and 225 but started out at 265 just 2.5 months ago. Good luck to you and hope to see you around.
 
Hey Justsit. Hopefully your goal wont be too far away for you. I must say that I am suprised how fast I got to 225 through cutting out soda and eating healthy and excersise. I still have a long way to go though to be where I want to be and the weight loss has slown down some for me, but it is still comming off. I am not familiar with the Ayurveda diet that you mention. I will have to do some research as I get curious about things I don't know about :p

I am Kapha...bigtime.

I tend to eat pretty healthy food, I just eat to much of it and I do not get enough exercise.
 
Hey Justsit. I researched your diet and personally its just too confusing for me. But that's just me. It sounds like its working for you and thats all that matters. Excersise is my downfall too. I do it, but not as much as I should. I get really bored on the treadmill very quickly. I'm actually trying to motivate myself to get on the treadmill this afternoon :(. Hopefully one day it becomes fun for me, but for now its a chore.

I put a TV and a DVD player and a stereo in the same room with the treadmill and the bike and that seems to help me. I keep up the pace I want and I am able to get in 20 minutes or more.
