Weightloss... Where to start!!

I'm 21, 5ft 3 and weigh 10st.
I need to shift my belly by April, thats 3months for a holiday as I'd rather not be jiggling all over the beach! Haha!

It seems that most of the diets out there really effect people who are much more over weight than I am, or am I missing something?
If anyone has any advice it would be soooo appreciated.. More interested in the types of exercise I could do rather than dieting, I'm a student so can't afford to be going all out on the latest fruit discovered in the depths of the jungle promising to eat all your fat cells over night.

I'm looking for something realistic that works! I'm sure thats what all girls are looking for really! :) I do have a gym membership so feel free to share gym routines!
