The way to lose weight is by turning ON the 6 fat burning hormones: thyroid hormones, growth hormones, insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1), testosterone, glucagon, and adrenalin (my favorite one to turn on). In order to turn the fat burning hormones on we have to turn OFF the 3 fat-making hormones; estrogen, insulin, and cortisol.
