**Never Reduce Diet For Loosing Weight

When you lose weight rapidly, means that you are technically lossing carbohydrate from your body and water but not the actual fat. Your metabolism for food will be reduce and which will be harder for body to burn calorie. So if you start eating as you do normally your body is going to keep the food into the storage which will be nothing but your fat cell.

Man alive, you can't be serious.

I'm sincerely not trying to be rude, but why hold yourself out there as an authority on the subject when it's blatantly obvious you're not? The problem is there are a lot of people here looking for sound advice and when someone who doesn't know what they're talking about starts handing it out... bad things can happen.

This is a community.

Read. Support. Help where you can. But don't preach and don't speak authoritatively on subjects you aren't educated in.

Hey Steve

Sorry if you didnt like the Thread mate. I have posted the above tip from my club and club also have professionals like doctors who share their views as well. Any ways at the end of the day its just a tip and not any medicinal advice which is going to harm anybody. I am not claiming any authority on the subject as there are other people who know more than i know and secondly Any Member can post their tips, i dont have any monopoly. In fact i will be more than happy if people post their tips more here than i do.

I respect your seniority and respect level but all i am saying is everybody should have the chance to say...

Thanks Hope you understand

In general if you're going to post "tips" you really ought to make sure that they're ( a ) readable and ( b ) accurate. Posting tips that people can't understand or contain false information don't do anyone any good.

I'm sorry, I simply don't follow your line of reasoning. In one post you've managed to appeal to authority and emotions to try and prove a point I don't agree with.

The simple fact is if everyone and their grandmother posted authoritatively, a lot of members would be led astray and possibly hurt.

I'm not against anyone sharing their experiences and opinions... I hate the idea of a dictatorship. Your initial post, though, seemed to me authoritative and match that with the "quality" of what you said - I saw a problem.

Simple as that.

Hey steve

That tip was just from one seminar i went to...

Anyways i am also disclaiming my authority as you can see the disclaimer on my first post. I am not a weight loss genius but just an individual who want to lose weight and has been around health industry... I dont think anybody should have any problem with that. I completely agree with KaraCooks Posting Geniune Tips... thats all...

Cheers

The only real problem I have is that the above makes no sense whatsoever. If that's what they tell you in your 'club', find a different club.

Additionally, it's physically painful to read what you posted. I know that English is not everybody's native language (it's not mine, for starters) but if you want to post advice on a forum that is run in English, you need to make sure that your English is good enough for everybody to understand.

If you don't reduce your diet to lose weight then you are not getting a calorie deficit from there. The only other answer is exercise. That alone won't be enough either and for many who are overweight, it won't lead to long term weight lose because the number 1 reason on average we have this weight is because of diet.

I think a better way of putting your tip is don't dramaticly reduce your diet. Smaller steps at a time will put you on the right course to a lifestyle change for a better future.
