Hi everybody
I am very fatty in teenage, and like to loose my weight. I heard about the phentramin d, for weight loss can anybody suggest, is it really affect or not.

Thanks in advance.

No. Weight loss pills don't work.

Eat less, move more. It's that simple.

Sans right, don't make it more complicated than it really is. Weight loss pills are a scam. Do you really think if you could take a pill and would lose weight that there would still be a problem in our world with obesity?? Save your money and do the work the old fashioned way. It'll be worth it in the end!

Hey Joseph, I actually talk about weight loss pills on my blog but you should really look at all the pros and cons before taking any kind of weight loss maintenance. Pills especially are a tricky thing and they can actually do you more harm then good. Do your homework and like the other three posts, exercise and eating correctly will go alot further in losing weight then the so-called quick fix.

I dont suggest you to take any weight loosing pills because they may have side effects if you are teenager you may be active and can do regular exercise if you do so you will be definitely loosing weight.

Tried a few weight loss pills in the past. They don't work. I only tried the types you can get over the counter: Adios, Hoodia, CLA and various other fat burners, none made a difference what so ever.

They claim to do many things, prevent appetite, 'kill' fat cells, regulate body weight...none do anything! I would add that for most people, overating happens as we eat for taste, pleasure, habit or comfort, not because we are hungry: we eat for emotional reasons. Eradacating this is virtually impossible and no pill is going to change that. If it did it would be nothing short of brain surgery and you gotta worry about a pill which changes the function of the brain!

I was using Lipo 6 Black Hers for awhile and it did suppress my appetite, but only for about a month. I think I got used to it.

Hoodia - Does this work?

Hello Guys,

I have recently stopped smoking as I have a young baby, I have joined this forum as I am trying to get fit which includes not eating as much rubbish.

I have been looking at slimming pills including Alli & stumbled across this thread in Google.

I have been looking at Hoodia appetite suppresants, I was wondering if they are real?

I have done some homework and have found one site in particular that looks like real stuff, UK based with the correct certificates. I have read the rules and understand that I can't post the URL here so the site is [removed]

So is hoodia actually any good and does this website look OK to you?

Thank you in advance.

Phil

Like everyone else has posted weight loss pills are bad. You might research cayenne pepper, cinnamon and EGCg (green tea extract). These supplements which are available in pill form are known to help boost your metabolism which in return aids in burning fat.

Those things come under 'weight loss pills' no matter what the ingredients are, and are just as useless as any of the other pills.

You want to lose weight? Eat less.
You want to lose weight and get healthy? Eat less, switch to eating the right things, and get your butt off the couch.

It's THAT easy!

ive never had any luck with them.

I tried the hunger supressants and stuff and they weren't any more effective than my own will power.

I also tried alli , which is to be taken with fatty meals. However , i didnt eat fatty food.. i just didnt move enough so that didnt benefit me anyway . They do produce some interesting side effects which gave me the impresison that they should be working! ( anyone whos taken it knows what i mean)

On a different note though , i do take green tea capsules as ive heard they increase metabolism rate. As i eat low calorie and excercise and am losing weight ,so i couldnt tell you if they had any effect whatsoever. But they arent bad for me so i shall continue to eat them as to not risk any possible benefits they might have! Does anyone know if these things actually work?

A waste of time and money.

One little 'trick' that does work is to eat an apple or orange 30 minutes or so before mealtime. Or a low-fat yogurt would do as well.

If you make no other changes whatsoever you'll at least feel fuller and eat less at mealtimes.

Pills really won't do any good. The best you can hope for is they they do no harm.

Those are both great little tricks to keep your appetite levels low... I'll add on to that, good ole fashion water!
When I'm consistently drinking a lot of water throughout the day my appetite goes way down.

Diet pills will burn your wallet, not your belly

the only pill i take is an asprin and a small cup of coffee before my cardio. Wow, look out, makes me feel like superman.

My Two Cents

I would contend that the only thing that gets lighter from over the counter diet pills is your wallet.

First of all, weight loss aids and dietary supplements are not subject to the strict standards that prescription drugs must adhere to. Consequently, they can be sold by drugstores, supermarkets and health food stores with little proof of their safety or their effectiveness. Unfortunately, the FDA only gets involved after the fact when a product has been shown to cause harm.

The majority of diet pills contain some kind of stimulant that suppresses appetite and once you go off them, your appetite returns and you begin to regain any weight you may have lost.

In addition, what some people fail to realize is that a number of these pills contain amphetamines to control appetite which can raise your blood pressure and seriously affect your heart rhythm. To add insult to injury, they are also addictive.

I think exercise is better than using pills for weight loss. There are many side effects of pills for the health. I suggest to every one pills are bad for health exercise is better.
