I am super exhausted today. And I know why. I smoked a joint last night and went to bed burnt out. Not to mention my friend was texting me and trying to converse at 2:30 in the am. Anyways I did my tae bo DVD last night and I'm not nearly as sore as I expected to be. For dinner I had my protein shake and a ceasar salad (thanks to my wonderful mother...). Then after smoking that joint I was just like "FOOOD I WANT FOOOD!!" But I stopped myself from eating very bad and eating everything I was thinking of and I just had a bit of raw broccoli dipped in garlic hummus. Oh and I had ONE cracker in hummus, and after that I just put everything back and let my mind run wild with thoughts of food and never satisfied the cravings. Serves them right!
So I didn't workout this morning. I want to go home and do my other tae bo DVD (55 minutes instead of 46) called total body fat blaster. This is the one I did with my mom without the bands, but this time I am using the bands!! Man I can't believe how drained I feel right now.... ugh..
Meals today:
Breakfast: Fibre One Honey Oat Clusters w/ skim milk - 270 cals
Snack: Protein shake - 250 cals
Lunch: Pita w/ garlic hummus, provolone cheese, 2 slices tofurkey, and cucumber - ~300 cals
Snack: Apple - 125 cals
Dinner: Salmon w/ small salad and some crispy mini's ketchup flavour - 390 cals
Total: ~1500
For some reason I am beginning to think that I am actually overestimating my calories. I generally measure out my foods and I usually read the nutrition label and either do a calculation for the portion I'm eating (cross multiply the labels calories per X pieces and figure out how many cals I'm eating for the amount of pieces I have). I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, but if you add up all the calories in my daily meals, they will usually only add up to about 1280 or 1150 ish (today's is 1335) and then I'll add a couple hundred to that number, just in case I underestimate anything. Does anyone think that this is a good idea if I'm generally measuring out my food or could I actually be severely overestimating my cals????
Oh one more thing I wanted to leave everyone with. This is an article that I found in the Metro news this morning on diaries aiding in weight loss.
