Weight loss and diet question

So, recently I just got back into working out, and trying to lose a few lbs. I'm not a small guy at all. I'm 6ft. 225lbs. My goal is to be about 195 by the end of June. Currently, I go to the gym about 5 days a week, and I am usually on the elliptical machine rather than treadmill (due to injury when I was in track in high school) for about an hour. I lift about 3 days a week, and spread out my weight training. Anyways, I think I'm doing good as far as the weight training and cardio, but my question is on the nutrition. I eat a lot of chicken/fish/seafood. Most of it is just grilled with some seasonings, and vegetables, and usually a small baked potato. Breakfast usually consists of 2-3 scrambled egg whites with a little bit of shredded cheese, and a piece of wheat toast with peanut butter. Snacks include a granola bar, or some crackers, or veggies.

I don't always have tons of time to cook, so my main question is. If I bought a juicer, and used that as quick after workout snacks/breakfast, would that be a healthy option? Maybe carrot/apple juice with a bit of whey protein in it to help rebuild the muscles. What options do I have available to me. If anyone has any advice, or would like to comment on my workout habits/eating habits, please let me know. I'm willing to hear everything, but please try to explain the reasoning, so I know how it benefits me, or how it actually hurts me.

Thanks in advance

the problem with juicing is that you miss out on the fiber. most juicers (not all) are designed to separate the seeds, pulp (fiber) and skin (fiber) from the juice.

its better than more store bought juice, but you'd be better off just eating the fruit. having an apple slicer/corer is pretty handy.

Oh okay, well I guess I wasn't really aware of the fiber thats is in the fruit. Thanks for that. Think I could just add a powder to it to help? Like I said, I'm not looking to use this for every sort of meal, mainly just during the week for quick snacks. Something I can make the night before, throw in the fridge, get up at 6 AM, work out for an hour and 15 minutes, then head to work and drink it.

I think it would just help a lot more. I sit at a desk for 8 hours which sucks, so I'm thinking by doing this, I'll at least get a lot of the nutrition that I need rather than having to munch on fruits and vegetables all day long while trying to answer phone calls lol.

i'd be drinking a protein shake post workout, not fruit juice.

and i'd still recommend eating the fruit. prep it the night before if you must, but eat it, don't drink it.
