Weight increasing because of work! :(

Hi, just recently got a new job to get me by, security..
It envolves sitting monitoring CCTV and Guarding Sites and houses etc..
I work very long hours, sometimes really long shifts...
But i feel as though my weight is increasing because i am not doing anything..
I spend most my time sat watching TV and on the Internet with the screens next to me?

I was thinking of taking something in to do while im there? Possibly a excersise bike or Weights??
What do people think?

Is an exersise bike a bit over the top? How much do they go for now, second hand?

What else could i do while im sat there???
I dont exactly have to sit there all the time, but theres nothing to do!!
Any ideas anyone?????????

What about pushups, situps and the like? Military-type exercises? There are lots of no-equipment things you could do that would still allow you to watch the monitors if you need to.

I think bringing an exercise bike to work would be a bit over the top, personally.

But I feel your pain though. I've gained twenty pounds since I started a desk job. :(
 
You might want to get a Resistance Workout Band and give that a shot. There are endless exercises you can do with one of those in a very small area.
