Well you gotta remember also the weight of the food itself that you ate. Pretend that you're holding that bowl of oatmeal while getting on the scale. Once you're body finishes digesting it, the pound will be gone.

I am often at my heaviest right after working out because I drink a ton of water while doing so. This is why it is best to weight yourself at a consistant time each day (or week or whatever your interval may be). I know that my weight can easily fluctuate 5+ pounds within any given day.

Your best bet overall is to weigh yourself in the same conditions once a week. Wear the same thing (or nothing), about the same time, same location. The more variables you make constant then the more accurate you can be. There is always flux in weight. Don't get too upset about it.

yea, you shouldn't be weighing yourself that much. Whats the point of weighing yourself before and then after you eat? Jerichos advice is spot on.

If I feel the need to weigh myself mid-week (because my "official" weigh-ins are on Saturdays), I try to do so in the morning (when the body naturally weighs less), and definitely not right after eating something, because that will almost always throw the number. Don't stress; it'll go away!

I seen a video cant remember maybe someone else has a link but a girl weighs herself then drinks 16oz if water then weighs herself again and is exactly a pound heavier i always weigh myself in the morning after i do my morning duties.. after i get out of the shower... i seen my weight have a spread of 5lbs threw the day... and do it with no cloths its hard to figure what your cloths weigh..
