Weight Disappointment! FML!

Urrgghh! FML!

About two years ago I was at about 200 lbs. I stopped eating as much as I could (literally 1000 to 1500 calories/day) and went to the gym 3 times a week. In ten weeks I was able to go down to 170/175. Since then, I began to neglect my exercise and have tried on and off to go to the gym. Fast forward to this summer, my jeans started ripping and I took it as a sign that I needed to get in shape (these were jeans that I fitted in when I was at 200 lbs albeit the fact that they were skinny jeans).

About a month ago, I decided to force myself to go to the gym every single day and gave myself one day off in the week in case I was too tired. So essentially 6/week I was at the gym running on the machines until it told me I hit 500 calories/4+miles/45+mins. (Usually by the time I hit 500 calories I would have ran 4.3 miles in 46-47 minutes)

I looked up my calorie intake calculator thingy and it says to maintain my weight I need 3000 calories per day, I usually eat 2000-2500 (not including the burned calories) and two weeks ago I weighed myself at 187/192, today I weighed myself again....at 187/192. WTF for two weeks I didn't lose a single pound?!?!!?

I am so disappointed in myself right now.

Don't be disappointed in yourself. Weight loss isn't a linear process. Some weeks you will lose weight, some you won't. If you go a couple more weeks not losing weight, but keeping up the same routine, then it's possible that you're underestimating your caloric intake, overestimating what you burn through exercise, or a combination of both. No matter what, don't stop your routine... keep going and make small adjustments when necessary. If you continue to not lose weight, try reducing your caloric intake by 10-15% and see if that helps. Also, are you doing any type of resistance training, or only cardio?
