Week 3!

Well I am into week 3 now yeah! And this week I lost 2lbs. I am very happy about this because last week there was no loss. I knew I would see something this week that is why I was not that upset about it.

I really tried also to exercise more. I worked on my exercise ball and walked when I could outside. I do go to the gym on Mondays (hat is all I can afford right now).

I spent the week really watching my intake of calories. I thought about everything I put in my mouth. I know I could do a little better but it is a start. I went to a social event with a few friends and did really well staying away from the junk food. I found myself not caring that those around me was eatting brownies. Sweets really are not my downfall anyway. But there was ALOT of other things I would have eatten if I was not trying to change my life. Oh yeah the girl I was with went to a fast food place after and I did not get anything. It was hard because I do enjoy hamburger! lol

The only thing I really need to work on is not eatting. In that case I did not want to eat what was at the event so I went along time without eatting anything. I finally got home and had a 2 eggs in a pita. But that was @ 3. Does anyone have any tips on that? What kind of food can I carry with me that will not harm my weight loss goals?

I have upcoming plans for this weekend with my friends and am not looking forward to the choices I will have to make. I feel really good that I will stay on track but temptations are all around.:reddevil:

Would love some advice on how to make this easier. Well I guess easy is not a good word because there is nothing easy about a diet.
Thanks for listening,

Hello. Welcome to the forum. Don't you just love the exercise ball? I know I love mine. They are even great for stretching! My only advice is to look at your eating habits as a lifestyle change and not a diet. Are you just calorie counting or are you restricting other things (low fat, low carb)? You could always put an apple or cereal bar (look for the healthy ones) in your purse. That way you are not starving when you get home.

you should start a diary rather than posting in the Newcommers. Create a thread under diary and keep posting in the same thread so people can follow it.
