Hello Everyone!

I am fairly new to the forum. By that I mean I have been reading and checking in for a while now, but just now started posting. For the past year or so, I have told myself that I needed to change a few things and started dieting to get back in shape, but laziness and excuses stepped in the way of it over and over again.

Today is a new day, I dont have any excuses and I have to refuse to give up. I have one child who will be 2 in February and I have always heard that it "takes 9 months to put on the weight, and a Year to take it off"......well, its way over a year and the scale keeps moving in the wrong direction!! lol.
I know I can do it, I just dont have the motivation and energy most of the time. But from reading all of the threads here, I can tell that I've stepped into the right place for encouragement, so I would love to join in on the success!
So Here's To Living Well and Feeling Great~!

Hi Amber!! Welcome:) This is a wonderful, motivating place and I wish you success in your efforts. Energy will come as the weight goes down and you fuel your body with the right foods. Motivation will also come... in spurts. Just have to work through the down periods and kick butt during the good periods!
Stay strong!!

Hey Amber! Welcome to the club! I am a newbie too and looking forward to this journey.

Motivation is hard but you can do it. Even over my first week, there were days where the "workout time" arrived and I did not feel totally into it. But I did it, knowing that the results would show the next day. Maybe not physically but mentally. Waking up knowing that I did not waste yesterday is a great feeling and now I do not want to give it up just because of 45 minutes of some hard work.

It's a great feeling and you will love it!

Cheers!
