Watching Calories

Hey guys, Im trying to watch my calories. I was looking for some recommendations since Im sure the calorie intake varies by age. Im 22 and was thinking about 1500 a day. How can I know what has how much calories if Im in, say a restaurant? Are there any general rules for pasta, red meat, etc? Thanks.

In general, if you are moderately active, you need to multiply your weight by 10 to see how many calories a day you need to eat to maintain your weight. To lose weight, you can subtract about 500 calories a day to expect to lose one pound a week (a pound equals 3,500 calories). Hope this helps.

multiply your weight in pounds m8 not kilos hehe :p.

2.2 pounds in a kilo.

90 kilo = 198 pounds

198 * 10 = 1980 - 500 = 1480

So yeah you were right, about 1500 or so calories.
