:) i didn't know where to put this, sorry if it's the wrong place.

Last week my boyfriend called me fat, half joking, under his breath, i know he likes me the way i am and it didn't mean anything but i was really depressed all week but now i'm so motivated, that i've forgiven him, even though i was really hurt.

I feel like i've had a good day today, but i'm not really sure. I just need some advice as to how good i've done adn if it was enough. :)

Foodwise i think i ate a good amount but not too healthy, but my mum needs to do a shop so it should be better 2moro.

Small bowl of honey nut bran flakes and semi-skimmed milk

Medium bowl of pasta, with cajun and tomato sauce and tuna.

4 potato wedges, 3 onion rings, some dip (my mum made it and tempted me)

4 chunks of chocolate ( :( it was the last of a bar, that was sitting in my living room)

2 cups of tea, not much milk and one sugar

1 apple.

DO u think this was low cal enough?

Plus i did a dance excercise video
350 sit ups
50 push ups
and some jogging on the spot while i watched t.v.
 
Okay, I don't know why this was missed on the board, BUT......with regard to the first part of your post: how can you say it didn't mean anything when it's bothered you all week? (and rightfully so).

Is it healthy to be in a relationship where you are called a name that hurts you? If he meant it, call him on it. People should say what they mean and mean what they say. If he did mean it, then why say it under his breath? There's a lot that irks me about this.....

Secondly, as far as your food choices go, it may be low calorie enough, it's hard to tell without knowing the portion sizes of everything, but it lacks nutrition!

Your only protein sources of the day were some tuna and milk. And just go with skim milk- people seem so reluctant to do that, but you're eating it with cereal- you really won't notice the difference!

Your only good fats came in the tuna. Start adding some healthy fats to your diet by eating some almonds, olive oil, avocado, etc.

Your carbs; really the only fiber I see you eating with those carbs is the cereal, and some from the apple, which I don't see as a good source of either, anyway.

"Small bowl" and "medium bowl" are not measurements that you can look up for nutrition information.

I really recommend you start a food journal and write down absolutely everything you eat. It's great you were honest about the chocolate and potato/onion rings, because you need to be honest with your food journal.

You would benefit from eating more- having a snack between meals, like low-fat string cheese, cottage cheese, low-carb yogurt, carrot chips and a little hummus.....these are all great choices that fill you up so you can keep your portions in control at mealtime.

Do you have any idea what your calories per day goal is?
 
I think about 1600 or 1500 calories a day, to lose weight. I've read on the internet 1200, but that seems low to me and i got advised by someone who runs a group a while about about 1600.
