Wanna be a weekend warrior?

I actually saw this on another old website and thought it was a great idea. I don't know about you all, but the weekends are some of the hardest times for me.
Instead of looking at weight over the weekends, we'll focus on working out. I realize that some people may opt for weekends to be rest days, so in that case - you'd focus on keeping your diet in check.
It's kind of late to put this in the forum, I realize, but if you happen upon this at any time, please jump in!

Seeing as how I didn't exercise Mon & Tue of this week, I'll be focusing on my workouts and eatings to see if I can become the ultimate weekend warrior. Please, wish me luck and join up!!! :)

the only downside to weekend warriorness is that you run the risk of injury if you aren't properly stretched up and warmed up... work out during the week and work out harder during the weekend.. :D

and don't use the weekend and an excuse to blow the good work you've done during the week food wise - no calorie fests :D though everything in moderation is good...

Im planning on hitting the gym early in themorning..

my bad, if it read as though i would only work out on the weekend. that's not what i meant. all i mean is..(for myself, anyway) instead of falling into the slump on the weekends, i plan to keep it strong, stick with my routine, etc...
i also mentioned if weekend are your rest days, they should stay your rest days..basically, it's not anything anybody has to do, i was just asking if anyone would like to join me, b/c that's my plan of attack on the weekends.

super awesome to see you too, newbride02!

That's a good idea...I know there is less to do around here on the weekend, so I spend more time at home, which usually equals more snacking.

Good plan!!

welp! i did pretty well as Xena this weekend. i worked out hard saturday and really enjoyed it. sunday i didn't workout (rest day) and i did have a soda and some popcorn, but i did rather well. i do pretty excellent during the week, so the weekends are always huge tests for me.
