Walking to running

lilacdawn - I used to hate running last year, but one day I just decided that I was gonna try to run on the treadmill. And then from that day on, I really liked it. If you get past the initial shock of getting into a running groove, then it becomes easier and easier. Sadly I didn't stick to the running thing after getting injured.

I try to run between 4.5mph - 5.0mph for about 20-25 minutes. I feel great after that. Although I can't imagine how marathon runners can run for hours!
