Hi! I'm trying to lose weight, and as a web developer, I have a funny solution for it.
I need your help...
So I was thinking last night about how lots of people suggest visualization as a way to motivate yourself to be who you want to be. You visualize yourself enjoying whatever it is (higher productivity, a healthier body, etc), and your unconscious mind helps you get it. That led me to investigate the "Think Yourself Thin" book (which looks great!). This is weird, but I actually downloaded the Sports Illustrated app that shows lots of beautiful, young, skinny women, to help myself visualize what it would look like to thin down a bit.
Anyway, I'm a web developer, and naturally, I thought about building a website. What I'd really like, to help motivate myself and others, is a collection of images of people's success (or even just naturally thin people), but made by women, for women, to encourage each other. It'd be *realistic*, non-sexual pictures of women - not bikini-clad youth meant for men to drool over, but for women to celebrate their healthfulness, and inspire others, too. Women of all ages, races, frames - in their healthy bodies. What do you think? (request removed)
Okay, if men are interested, I could do a section on the site for men, too. Though, would men be inclined to look at pictures of other men in a non-sexual way? I'm not sure.
