Hi All. So I am a pretty normal size-just looking to lose a few pounds that I've recently put on, making my pants not fit comfortably. A couple weeks ago I made the mistake of trying to lose the weight too quickly and went on a very low cal diet (w/ some exercise) for about a week and ofcourse lost 4-5pounds in that time. Then we had a visitor from out of town and I ate normally (and probably a bit too much) for a couple days and literally gained it all back.
Now its been about 1.5 weeks since regaining the weight. I have since been much more reasonable about my diet-eating more calories, a balanced diet, but still being very aware of everything going in my mouth and making sure not to eat much at night. In the past this would have easily and quickly led to at least a few pounds weight loss by now and I would notice my pants fitting loser. BUT THEY ARE NOT!! What is happening? Is it possible my body refuses to lose weight despite my focused, but not extreme efforst? I feel like I'm doing everything right but I'm ready to quit. Can anyone help?
