unrecognizable...

So I'm down from 254 to 203 lbs. I met a girlfriend whom I haven't seen in a year last night and she couldn't recognize me at first. When she did she said I looked terrific and grilled me about what diet I was on.

I'm realizing for the first time that I've lost a significant amount of weight. My breast and butt are smaller. My boyfriend can pick me up now. My face is a lot slimmer. And, my goodness, I have a clavicle bone.

People I haven't seen in a while are very shocked by the change, if they recognize me at all. This is pretty cool, but also a little jarring as well. I always dreamed of the day I'd nearly give someone a heart attack with my beautiful new figure. But it's starting to get weird, and it'll only get more weird as I lose more weight. I'm happy as hell, but realize this might bother me after a while. Also friends are seeing me lose weight and asking about the fast. This woman who thought I was crazy when I told her about it 3 weeks ago totally asked me for the website this afternoon. Anyway, just thought I'd share the weird stuff going on currently.

Congratulations!
That will help motivate you to keep yourself healthy... when it's "fun" it's a lot better than when it's something you don't want to do.
I bet you feel great inside, too!

lecola: You are becoming an inspiration for other people. This doesn't happen to many people, enjoy the fact that you are giving hope and motivation to others who need to work on their weight.

I've found the same thing...people who are inspired by my success are now finding the courage and motivation to tackle the immensely difficult task of losing weight.

Bravo to you!

Oh, isn't it amazing! I have to say, I'm still really surprised when people say they don't recognize me at all...I don't think getting smaller has made THAT much of a change that they couldn't recognize *me* unless of course all they could see was my size ;)

And the clavicle bone...that is my FAVORITE part of me now LOL!

Congratulations and great job to you for knocking out almost *50* pounds!! That is such a huge accomplishment :D

I know what you all mean about not bein recognized, a friend of mine who i saw last december (after like 55lbs lost) didnt recognize me at the airport when we went snowboarding. Then, this week was spring break, he and his gf came down to visit and a group of us went to shoot pool... he walked away as i was tryin to help my sister make a shot and nearly came up to me like i was someone else bc he is over protective of my sister lol. He was like "man! i didnt even recognize it was you" this was after we had been hangin out for a couple days haha I dont think i look that different, just thinner haha
