UK Newbie Needs to Lose Tum

Hello all :)

I'm rapidly approaching my 40th birthday (3 months to go) and have the middle aged tum to match.

Currently weigh just under 200 lb which fluctuates depending on the season, but would ideally like to be 175 lb. I'm 5'11" but have varying muscle mass, so can't easily follow BMI type recommendations.

I've renovated 4 properties in the last two years, which helps build muscle and burn a bit of fat, but that's mostly ruined by too much junk food on site.

Now concentrating on managing tenants, website design and the occasional bit of property maintenance, which is the only real exercise I get. Other than running around after my two little girls (2 and 5!)

This looks like a great forum, so looking forward to learning lots and helping where I can :)

Hey Man,

Glad that you made it. The junk food is a habit that you should now consider changing. I think what happens with junk food is that it tastes so good that there are a few very happy moments in a day and they are called meals.

The thing that needs to change is realizing that improving how you feel all day comes about as a result of eating under-calorie-budget meals and feeling better because you have just eaten something that improves your mood and attitude. Once this happens you're in.

Are you ready?
Frank
