Welcome and great work! Losing weight at a young age is hard (I tried, I did it, and then I failed) so the fact that you've made it this far really says something about your will and character. Losing the weight over a long period of time is great too, makes it less likely that you'll gain it all back.
First of all, congratulations on losing the weight that you have. Well done.
From what I'm reading, you seem to have doubts about yourself. Let me let you in on a little secret. We All feel this way, from time to time. I know you may look at yourself and think "Am I the only one who feels this way? Everyone else looks so together". I assure you we all have doubts about ourselves, from time to time.
The thing you need to work on is developing a more positive self-image. One book that you may want to check out from you library is "Psycho-Cybernetics" by Maxwell Maltz. He is really the original self help guru, and there's lot's of good stuff there.
Hang in there. You're stronger than than you think
thank you to everyone who replied.
its been quite a journey and alot of hard work but i appreciate your support.
dave: thank you soo much. and i will definitely check out that book.
its really hard to gain back self esteem, especially when kida these days are so cruel but i am trying very hard and hopefully i reach my goal before christmas.
aha
You are going to be able to build that self esteem each day. There are allot of people here that will help in that. And you are right kids can be mean but you can show them. You have already had success and you will have more. Good luck Tina
thank you
thats my motivation too, to shove my new body in their faces.
