Two-A-Days

Well, tis the season to be jolly.... (soon) and I want to make an impression on my familly. I am going to be doing Two-A-Days at least until the holidays for my cardio routine. In the morning I will be doing HIIT and in the evening Long distance running (both on my eliptical).

Anyone want to join me? I'm starting tomorrow. :)
 
My friends birthday party is in December[near christmas], and I haven't seen them in over a year, so i'm hoping to get some jaws dropping! :)
 
Right on!! I just did my morning workout, feeling good about it. I can't wait till tonight's workout :)
 
30 minutes doing HIIT and 60 minutes just straight running.

I'll do HIIT in my mornings because I like to sleep in as much as possible :p
 
Well today was my first Two-A-Day and I strongly think I can do this every day. It wasen't that hard, actually, I'm proud of myself. ;)
 
How do you run on your elliptical? Do you keep it at a steady pace?

Just curious, because I've got an elliptical and I don't have a "run" program.
 
My program is called weight loss and it goes up and down a bit. It's not completely steady, but it's close.

I'm just going to say this: When HIIT is done properly it can be really, really taxing on your body. When I've finished a proper HIIT session on the track I feel completely zonked and like I'm going to puke. If you're doing it properly, you should be pretty well worn out. I've read it's not a good idea to do HIIT every day, at least not using the same exercise/muscles. I'd check in with a professional (Leigh P., Steve, or Trevor on here, or your doctor) before you really commit to doing HIIT every single day.

Other than that, congrats on your weight loss thus far!

Thanks for your advice. That's why I'm doing it in the morning. by the time the evening comes im good to go again. I'm going hard, I know I am, but that's the point. I've realised that the body can adapt itself, so sure, it's tough at first, but I'll get into to it pretty fast. I did my two today BTW :p
