Tuna Burgers! They Are The BEST!

This sounds pretty good, though Ive never had tofu, so I have no idea what that would taste like. I do, however, love tuna, so these sound like a go to me.

mmm these are good... i chrushed some whole weat crackers into crumbs and added those and some tony chacheres creole seasoning... mmm

We Tried This..

A dash of wheat flour???!!!

Well, I gave this a shot and I would suggest draining the tuna first, and the ingredients and then add water if needed. My first tuna can I just poured in there and ended up having to add a drained can of tuna and about 1 cup of wheat flour just to get it even near think enough to make a patty from. Maybe though the directions are not clear enough or I miss understood them..

Is a person suppose to put it all in a pan (the big mush) like it is and just cook it like that? And, when it is heated enough and begins to thinken, then make patty's?

Please clarify.. although it was good, too mush for a patty leaving the can of tuna undrained and way to much flour for my diet.

Eating a tuna burger now. It's very good! I read all the posts and took the advice on draining the water out first. It worked out well this way and I only had to add 1/8 cup of wheat flour. I added jewel nonfat chedder cheese along with ketcup and mustard. I also added a tad GimmeLean tofu sausage stuff to it.

I haven't tried it yet, but plan to this week. I gave the recipe to my neice and she tried it yesterday and said it was delicious.

I used to eat these all the time with a good coating od Cajun spices.

But like LV, I don't eat tuna out of a can anymore. I occasionally treat myself to some tuna sahimi but that's about all the tuna I eat these days.

Sorry if this is igorant, but what do you do with the bread? Just use it for a bun?

Your description makes it seem like you actually mix bread in with the tuna somehow... If so, can you elaborate a bit?

Thanks,
chris.
