Trying to lose the belly, gut

Hey I been working out for about 1year strong now, 4-5 days set, in the middle went down to 1-2 days only, but for the last 5 months its been good. Now i weigh about 140lbs and and I have noticed that my stomach still sticks out a lot, however the rest of my body has improved, I was just wondering what should i concentrate on to still keep gain muscle mass but at the same time lose the gut.
 
I would say keep it up and start stomach toning exercises!

Okay I understand so I need to use a combination of those things, however I do not want to lose weight, I just want to lose the fat around my stomach, the beer gut, is it allright if I am still taking Protein Shakes, and also like how many times a week should i work on toning the stomach area, should i include it on top of my 5 day sets, or mix it 2 times a week. I am not looking for a 6pack or anythign like that, just to my body toned all around.
 
I have the same problem it's hard to loose fat in this part of your body,only hope is to exercise and eat healthy food.
 
It's important to know what you are doing and why you are doing it. The starting point is to understand exactly how the stomach and abdominal muscles work. Only then can you go about working how to get the look you want.
