Trying to lose 60 pounds!

Hello everyone!

Glad I found this great forum. Hopefully I can get some support from other members. I'm trying to lose about 60 pounds. I just started jogging everyday of the week, but don't really know what else to do (I'm pretty cluless when it comes to sculpting the body).

I've already started to eat healthier, I don't drink soda or eat fast food. And try and stay away from sweets.

Tips would be greatly appriciated. I'd love to hear what everyone else is doing to drop weight.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your project.

Read around the forum (especially sticky threads) and get lots of advice regarding both exercise and nutrition. Decide on an appropriate calorie level to make sense for weight loss based on your own data. Get a free account on fitday.com. It will help you track your food and make sure that you do not have too many calories. It is not just fast food, sweets and sodas that cause people to pile on the pounds (although cutting these out is a great start).
