I lift weights and do cardio about 5 to 6 times a week
I wanna loose that extra 10 pounds.
It's not a problem for me to motivate myself to go to the gym and work hard.. However.. I have a hard time figuring out the proper diet.
For starters, I threw out all the junk food, sodas, chocolates.. etc.. I have been eating a lot of those. So I'm eating much healthier now, however I'm unsure of how much protein and how much carbs should I eat,
out of the overall food intake, how many percent should it be carbs and how many proteins?
I read that there are simple and complex carbs, some are natural while some are not.. which got me even more confused, what kind of carbs are good for me should I have?
My goal is to loose some fat, while gaining some muscle mass, Meaning I wanna be ripped, not bulky.
I have a BMI of 24.5. I assume my daily calorie intake should be around the 2000-2500 range?
I'm completely aware that working out alone won't give me results, that's why I'm looking for a good diet.
Any kind of help/advice would be appreciated,
Thank you
