Hey there,
I am a male at the age of 15, almost 16 (Jan) wanting to loose a bit of weight. My BMI has measured in as 26.6, and I want to have it down to 24, at least.
The reasons for me wanting to loose weight are obvious, I want to lower the risk of fat-related diseases or whatever, and to look far better to others. Now, along with this, I am determined to lower the numbers on the bathroom scales, but I have one problem. I feel embarressed when my family walk past as I'm on the treadmill, their not very supportive, even though loosing weight is a great this to do.
I've been trying my hardest to get their support, but they just... don't give any. I wrote a list of what I want out of loosing weight, and it reached over 30 reasons. I also did something that I never thought I could do, I denied chocolate for the first time in my life, when I was hungry.
I just need a bit of motivation, as it isn't as easy as the stupid informercials say it is... "Just 10 mins a day, three times a week"...
I need some help though, I have a treadmill that can measure the speed of what I am going at. I do a walk at 6.5 km/h and have set it to loose 150 Calories. I am doing this twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the afternoon. In the mornings, I wake up with very sore legs, and limp down the stairs. Is there a way to stop this? I am thinking of setting the treadmill to 100 Cal workout... but I'm not sure that will be enough to loose weight. I am also watching what I am eating, and trust me, it is healthy.
How bad is an egg also?
Any help will be VERY appreciated, I am in desperate need of loosing weight... My self-esteem is dramatically low.
Thank you very much.
