Trying for real this time.

People say that I don't look that overweight, but when I look in the mirror all I see is someone that I don't want to be. I've always had problems with my weight, mostly on my stomach and thighs. My brother lost a lot of weight when he was in the process of joining the military, because that was his passion, but I've never had something that motivated me like that and seeing what happens when you ignore these things I just don't want to have complications because of my weight in the years down the road. Hopefully I'll lose at least 50 lbs and be at 200 but even with 20 lbs gone ill be a little happier.

Welcome to the forum. I would say motivation is something that keeps a person on the go. I would suggest that you make up such an environment around you that you feel motivated. How about you stock your home with few exercise machines, then listen to some fast traacks and practise aerobics and putting up diet charts on your wall and cupboards? Sound great right? Try it this really work.
