trigger foods

I know that once alcohol enters the equasion... I seem to magically turn into a hoover vaccuum and suck up all the food.

Totally agree. If I'm drunk I eat everything.....sometimes I don't even know I'm doing it. After a night of too many shots and too much fun, I woke up on my parents couch with ranch and buffalo sauce in my hair and on my face. I remember my dad standing over me saying "Can you explain the box of chicken wings in the sink and melted popcicles in the bathroom?" There was a perfectly good explanation....tequilla. what i couldn't explain is why I had my friend drop me off at my parents house since I hadn't lived with them in over 2 years. Yeah....I don't really drink anymore.

Tostitos with the hint of lime... They are very difficult to resist, and they go very well with a fully leaded Coca Cola...

Also Brownies. Unless they're sucky brownies. I'm always torn between gratitude and dismay at sucky brownies.

Easy Crisps (or I think they're chips in America?) Oh my god, I can look at them in the store, but thats it even if I buy them I know I have to buy a load because one packet just isn't going to be enough for me.
Chips (or fries) I'm exactly the same. Everything else is fine, but they really are my weak points.

There is no such thing as a half empty bag of candied orange slices or leftover pizza in my house. I can live without the orange slices, but not the pizza.

I teach a couple of night classes every week and on those days I eat a light breakfast, a salad for lunch and buy two slices of cheese pizza for dinner. This satisfies my

pizza fix for the day and I can actually lose weight by doing this. The key is that I don't buy a whole pizza - just the slices.

Good thread.

For me its basically sweet foods. So on my last diet, i gave up sugar entirely. This time i have allowed somethings but i know its not such a great idea. Maybe i shall try to go back to the no sugar again soon, once the jam and crumpets and honey pot are empty.

I'm also pretty bad with nuts, Sushi train Japanese, peanut butter, cheese.

Essentially anything with a very strong salt or sweet flavour. Or even any fast food is not a good idea for me because it just makes me want to eat more. A lot of greasy fast foods, are just not satisfying so i know that's the reason i want more of that.

Low calorie, bulking foods are best for me. The make me feel full and satisfied and give me the energy to get to the next meal without pain, unless i'm having a psychological reaction eg boredom from sitting around too much.
