Hi,
I recently got a motorized treadmill. I like it but i'm having some problems with the belt.
Basically the belt will shift off centre and start to rub against the plastic guards on the side, which causes the belt to fray and the sides to scuff.
Ive tried adjusting and tightening the roller but i think the belt may be too loose from factory, as tightening the roller position makes no difference.
Just wondering if anyone else here has/has had a treadmill which does this. Like if you lean to one side while the treadmill is on will the belt move off centre? I'm not sure if its normal or not, so if anyone could go to their treadmill and see if they can shift the belt alignment simply by leaning to one side of the belt while the treadmill is on i would like to know.
If this isnt normal, i'll call the hotline and arrange someone to come and inspect it, it has a 4 year guarentee anyway.
Btw its this one:
Its a weird question but i cant find anything about this problem on the internet, and i hope this all makes sense to anyone who is reading.
And by "belt" i mean the walking belt you stand on when using the treadmill. Just stating the obvious for anyone who doesnt know.
