Treadmill Help! (treadmill owners needed)

Hi,
I recently got a motorized treadmill. I like it but i'm having some problems with the belt.
Basically the belt will shift off centre and start to rub against the plastic guards on the side, which causes the belt to fray and the sides to scuff.
Ive tried adjusting and tightening the roller but i think the belt may be too loose from factory, as tightening the roller position makes no difference.
Just wondering if anyone else here has/has had a treadmill which does this. Like if you lean to one side while the treadmill is on will the belt move off centre? I'm not sure if its normal or not, so if anyone could go to their treadmill and see if they can shift the belt alignment simply by leaning to one side of the belt while the treadmill is on i would like to know.
If this isnt normal, i'll call the hotline and arrange someone to come and inspect it, it has a 4 year guarentee anyway.

Btw its this one:

Its a weird question but i cant find anything about this problem on the internet, and i hope this all makes sense to anyone who is reading.
And by "belt" i mean the walking belt you stand on when using the treadmill. Just stating the obvious for anyone who doesnt know.

I had that happen to me, and found the only way I could make it not happen was to walk straight and not allow myself to lean to one side. LOL Wish I could help out, I think I would try to get ahold of the manufacturer!
It is a big pain, that is for sure! I have bought another one since and it doesn't do that.
Good luck on your weight loss!!! (and your belt problem)

I've never had that problem with mine. We have a Fitness Gear. I also purchased the extra 3 year warranty, which will replace any problems like that. You should probably contact the manufacturer and tell them the problem, they may have ways to fix it or repair the machine.

I have adjusted the roller so that the belt stays straight now.
It moves off centre if i lean with my trainers in a diagonal position and i force my weight to one side. I'll just leave it how it is and if something breaks then its covered. 4 year guarentee including free repair for accidental damage.
Just did 1.9 miles in 26 minutes. Not amazing but you gotta start somewhere.
Console says i burnt 234 cals as well which is good.
I attached a picture of it with an insanely high compression rate. Whats the deal with a 100kb max image size? Makes the image look useless really.
