treadmill and cross trainer

how come i only lose 80cals for a 20minute consistent run on the treadmill, yet i lose 80cals for 10minutes on the crosstrainer. running makes me well more tired i dont understand.
 
that does not sound right at all, i know for a fact you burn more calories with any weight bearing exercise such as running on (link removeD)
