Training Programme

I am a realtively unfit late 30's male (39). Looking to go on a training course for about 3 months. My blood pressure is normal, a little fat on the belly no where else and my resting heart rate is about 65. I can run at about 8km an hour for about an hour.

The training is around 6 hours a day combination of yoga, circuits and boxing. It is split into 2 lots of 3 hours, morning and afternoon.

My questions as follow's

Is it actually possible to train for 6 hours a day ? At the moment if I do 2 x 45 min sessions intense in a row I am nearly dead !

How long will it take me to actually get to traing to 6 hours a day ? What is the best way to prevent injuries as I really dont want to start off with an injury ? How do you know when you have reached your limit ?

Is this a good idea ? Any comments welcome ?

Should I just push myself to the max everyday ?

Thanks

What kind of training program is it, exactly? (As in, what kind of population is it generally marketed to and used by?) In all honesty, 6 hours of training per day is the amount of time elite, competitive athletes will spend. For anyone else, 1-2 hours is pretty normal. Trying to train too much can be as unhealthy for you as not training at all.

As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day. If you want to lose weight or meet specific fitness goals, you may need to exercise more.

Want to aim even higher? You can achieve more health benefits if you ramp up your exercise to 300 minutes a week.

That would be enough for any normal person. Don’t overdo anything. It would bring devastating result in the long run.
