Tracking my calories and exercise

Hey - I´m new here so please be kind - lol! Am hoping to get some great tips and share advice. Am currently on an exercise mission. I want to lose about 6 pounds off my thighs - and a bit on my tum :p anyway, where does everyone keep track of what they are eating and their exercise - i have seen extrapounds.com so i think i will try there? their blogs are cool! not sure i´ll be putting my photo out there for everyone to see though :eek:
 
FitDay is a great site.

and Derwhyddon is right, we don't have the luxury of doing certain things to lose fat off of specific areas.

There are a lot of sites where people just won't accept that fact, this isn't one of them. If anyone comes off as harsh here at some point, they aren't trying to be. This site is more about telling people what they need to hear then about telling people what they want to hear.

thanks for your replies, i will check the site out and propbably use both extrapounds and fitday. i just love the blog on extrapounds - and writing my thoughts and frustrations, if i don't do that then i get very disheartened. anyway, thanks for the advice - i really hope the fat does come off my thighs - there is nowhere else for it to come off - none on my hips now and a bit on my stomach, but i really do have thunder thighs. I am 5'1 - 124 lbs, very small waist and want to be 118. i am taking in 1100 - 1300 calories a day and have been doing this for 3 weeks now - with no results - yes firmer muscles and feeling good, but the fat is not budging. what do you think of a detox diet?

its great that you say what people need to hear - tough love is what i need! :D
