Torn Calf - Fitness advice

Hi,

I have torn my calf muscle and have got to wear an airboot till the end of October.

The main problem I have is knowing what fitness training I can do? The boot is very limiting and stops the calf from moving thus reducing its size and allows the tear to heal.

Can anyone give me any advise on what CV work i could??? I wish to return to rugby after rehab so want to keep a reasonable CV level up

one leg Cardiovascular Exercise, can't get wet, or roughed up thats a doozie. First ideas: one leg jump rope, punching bag, monkey bars (oddly) prity much what your thinking is what i would do too. GL
 
update

ok, have had the air boot off today and can start in the gym using my legs

anyone got any good exersices for building strenth/flexibitily etc into the calf, best CV training and stuff to avoid would be usefull.
