Toning up ?

Hi i have a lost alot of weight recently and i was wondering what the best way of toning up loose stomach muscles is.

P.S i dont want to gain muscles just tone up. Hope that makes sense
 
"Toning up" is a bad term to use.

Why?
Because 'toning' is a process of losing bodyfat, and showing off the muscle underneath. If you don't have enough muscle, you look 'scrawny' instead of 'toned'.

So to 'tone up', you need to watch your diet. THe muscles aren't 'loose'...you have fat that needs to be shed.

Well ok how do i get rid of Fat around my stomach area. I am now very light about 115 lbs. So i think my healthy eating is going well , all i want is some simple exercises to do every day to reduce my stomach fat.

You're saying you want to lose your stomach fat, you cannot spot reduce. Males tend to hold their fat around their stomachs and it's the last place to come off from. Do regular cardio and or HIIT training and a good weight training routine as well. Weight training does not mean you have to get bigger, if you stick to high sets and reps with low weight, you'll stick activate your muscles and help decrease body fat.
 
Well i do a lot of walking and i now weight about 115 lbs and my diet is very healthy . Do you think that what i am doing is slowly helping reduce , but will just take time.

I am considering getting a treadmill could this quicken up the situation.
 
what are you doing for weight training? the more muscle you have, the more calories your body burns.

if you are 'skinny fat' then you probably need to up the muscle mass, which will make your body look better, and help you burn the fat off.
 
at the mo all i do is walk but i could do some running , iam considering a treadmill ,

What do you guys think

I want to have a flatter stomache and get fitter and healthy in the process.
