Today is THE Day

Hi I am a stay at home mom (for now) and I live in Canada, I am 29 and I feel 89! LOL
But today I start my new life/changes.

It all started...
I said my prayers for the first time in a looong time last night and asked God to let me live easier and I would stop all my bad habits.
Well I woke up feeling great! energized and motivated.
I called about a gym membership, wanted to clean my home and even quit eating like a pig!
I guess I got my wish- it shows that my life being easier is all about STOPPING your bad habits and eliminating the problems, not covering them and making excuses for them..

I quit otc drugs that I've been addicted to for quite some time because of the codeine, I did it so I wouldn't die, but then I was still fat..it made no sense to do one thing to save my life but not do THIS to save my life. Ya know?

Anyhow, I took it because of chronic back pain, I mean it was so severe, but I honestly think it was the T1's! T1's was practically the only thing I was taken to kill the pain but in reality the acetaminophen (main ingredient in t'1's) was making the pain worse by agitating my "insides".
I am now "About" 230 lbs giver ot take a couple lbs. I want to lose about 100 lbs by this time next year. I am 5"2 and I am 230+ lbs, NO NO! damn how did I let myself get THIS big? I really have to thank that show X-Weighted last night , the roller derby mama on it really gave me the inspiration.

Well there you have it in one big long unprofessional no grammar using post about me and my new life!
I will update lates.

Welcome to WLF, best of luck to you in your journey! :) How do you plan on going about losing your weight? Oh and how old are your kids? I have one, and he's 1 :D...

I am cutting out sugar and night time eating and going to the gym 5 days a week for cardio and weight training.
My kids are 12, 7 , 6 and 4. :)
Thanks! I hope to see you around here:bigear:

Just wanted to say welcome! I think you will like it here there will be so many people to help you along the way. I also think by taking a year to reach your goal is very realistic. The slower you take it off the longer it will stay off. Good luck to you and stay strong. You will feel better each day. Tina
