Tob's Journal II

Hey all, with Winter looming its ugly head once again I find myself inside more and of course back on the computer. I still lurk from time to time but over all I try to limit my computer time each day.

I kind of undid all my progress from last year. Mondays weigh in was 206 lbs. Not a surprise after Thanksgiving and Christmas. This week I decided to go back to eating better ( again ) haha. Some one had purchased a food juicer for me for christmas, and I found I love the taste of fresh made vegetable juice(I hate V8). So I have been replacing one or two meals a day with juice. Last time I had a Journal I was doing 1500 cals a day, Guess im going back to that.

My work/life schedule permits me little time to walk like I was a year ago, however, things change and perhaps soon ill be back at it. I am not sure what ill be doing, I am thinking about picking p90X back up.

Ill be tracking my progress in here as soon as I figure out what it is im going to do.

Good morning lurkers and friends!

Mondays Weigh in 200.6 Lbs! woot!...

that's a little crazy six lbs in a week but I am willing to guess that was mostly water weight.

I think today will be a rest day from any physical activity my legs are a little sore nut much but a little. When i walk or run at my house its literally up hill both ways so my legs get quite a work out. so from 1/2/12 to 1/8/12 i did 12.1 miles in three days. Its also been warm(40* - 60*). I am kicking around starting to run more, but with Feb looming im sure we will not have this unseanably warm weather very long. I like doing P90X because I can do it inside but several people run in my neighborhood and its motivational to speak with them.

I hope every one reading has a good day.

Mondays Planned meals:

Breakfast: Fresh Vegetable juice

Snack: nuts

Lunch: Fresh Fruit Juice, small salad

Snack: Peanut butter & Celery

Dinner: chicken sausage and rice with onions( this may change)

Congrats on the weight loss Toby :)

It's great to see you incorporating so much exercise into your dieting too.I wish it was nice enough outside to walk around where I live. It seems like vegetable juice is working out well for you. I recently just yesterday started drinking crystal light mixes, but outside of that just water. What kinds of foods do you usually eat? I'm eating very healthy and find it hard to get the calories I need to in a day.

Good job, and keep it up!

Thanks, the foods i have been eating are TONS of fruits and vegetables haha. Pears, apples, grapes, kiwi, peaches, tomato, carrots, celery, peppers, spinach ( both cooked and raw), kale and turnips. l have all these things on hand always in the house. I have been drinking juice made from many of the listed produce for breakfast and eating raw vegetables for lunch some times salads. a red beet egg and often cheese. tonight was the first night i had processed food in a while, I had cheese curls with my turkey wrap and ranch dressing on it haha. Also lots of water.

How are the crystal light mixes?

Great job,

Are you doing a specific mix of running walking? When I started out last time I believe I started with a 2 min run/1 minute walk and then went up through 3/1 -> 10/1 mix gradually increasing my running time as I went.

Nothing brings on the love/hate relationship like jogging...

what I have been doing is just walking till I get to the bottom of the hill then running till I have to stop and then walking till I can run again. Today I ran really far. don't really know the mileage though.

I will start with a 2 minute run followed by a 15 minute collapse! Ha..just kiddin...I hope to run again by spring.

Nice, man gotta get out there i guess.
