Hi All,

I am myzans and still new in this forum. Recently I have posted some article which I think is good to share with other. Since the article is not from me so I have to put the writer name on the article. But after one day I noticed the article has been removed from the forum. Now I received an infraction from the forum. I really suprised  . I do apology if what I have been doing is wrong. But can some one here guide me how can I share knowledge in this forum.? Thank you in advance

I'm not a mod here, so I can't speak for them. But I can tell you that I am extremely suspicious when any new person comes on WLF and posts a link to some other site or product. Generally these are nothing but spam. Next to people who make fun of us for our weight, spammers are vile pieces of crap.

Contact the mods if you truly have a problem.

Knowledge resides in the mind. If you've got it, share it. But if you have to share it via outside resources..... it probably isn't all that great anyhow. This is based on past experience.

The outside resources are just someone else's knowledge. That's a silly idea. Imagine that in practice: teachers don't use textbooks to impart knowledge to students because that's an outside source and isn't all that great anyhow; they just teach from what they know (which, generally, they've learned from textbooks anyway...). Recording knowledge and spreading those records is extremely valuable and is the basis of our civilization (where would we be without books?). This has nothing to do with the original topic -- I'm just responding to the previous post.

Please, let's leave things in context. I promise you I've spent more time on fitness forums than you. From my experience, 9/10 outside "sources" someone wants to post in this type of atmosphere are spam.

Put it this way, almost ANY "source" that is theory or science based is pretty much garbage as for as I'm concerned when it comes to exercise science and/or nutrition.

If you knew me, you'd know I read more than the average person. You don't have to start some crazy debate about the efficacy of literature.

Again, context. It's a marvelous concept.

Hi, Steve and jlive566.

Thank you very much for the info. At this moment I don't have much experience about weight loss. But when I have my own experience sure I will share with you all. Thanks guy for your advise...:)

I didn't see the context in the post (just because this is a fitness forum doesn't mean that your comment couldn't have been a blanket statement about all knowledge), and I just wanted to make sure you weren't saying that knowledge spread through "outside sources" was worthless. Maybe in the context of new age exercise science it is.

No big deal.
