Tips to help with my undulating hips...?

Hi! I'm around 4' 11" and 114lbs; I'm not exactly too far from my ideal weight, but what annoys me terribly is the shape of my hips. Instead of a single smooth curve outwards on either side, I seem to have two - one for my love handles and another for the top of my thighs, which in my opinion makes my silhouette look terribly odd... Is anyone else similarly afflicted?
What I wanted to know though, is:
a) I practically live in hipsters- the waistband settles on the point between the two curves; so could these jeans actually be pressing my hips into this odd shape?
and
b) Are there any targeted exercises that can smooth things out for me?
Help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know what to say. I don't think you can spot tone. Hopefully Steve will answer you. He's really good with technical information. Ask him. You can send him a private message by clicking on his name.

Maybe if you did 10,000 sit ups like some people are working toward. In the meantime, my opinion? It sounds like you are trying to live up to an ideal image that is either airbrushed or the result of years and years of body work with a low fat ratio. Don't get your knickers in a twist over something you can't help.

I have the same issue only on a grander scale. I'm 5'4"
