Hi all,

I'm a 21yo uni student who's had some hard times come her way in the last year.

I have finally decided to do something about it and to start a new "I Feel Great" Chapter in my life!!

This is my step one!!! Hopefully it works!!!

Hi Rosegoldstonata!

I've just joined too, am a 20 yo uni student in the UK and have a similar goal to you. Making the decision to do something is sposed to be the hardest part isn't it?! I hope so anyway! What diet plan/exercise are u going to follow? I haven't quite decided yet!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi, and good luck, you can do it!

Hey Pink!

Glad to see that you're here too!! It's good to see that there are people in the same boat as me!!

I'm just sticking to basics at the moment as my current eating and exercise habits are extremely poor. I never used to eat breakfast (I've done so every day this week!) and now I'm going to the gym and doing some running, weights and ab work. It's going ok but I'm having problems with motivation as I'm gaining muscle weight and losing the fat weight so on the scales it looks as though I'm puttin gon weight. GAR!!!!

Let me know how you're going!! Good Luck!!! xx

Hey Rosegold!

I replied on that other post, but I thought I'd write here too!
Yeah eating habits/exercise have been pretty awful for me too... a lot of no eating for a little while and then binging for a big while! This last month has been better, but plenty of room for improvement!

And I hate scales! Unless you've got one of those fancy body fat calculating ones, which I dont, I dont see the point in looking at them more than every fortnight/ three weeks, they're just annoying!! I used to look at the scales everyday n if i'd gone up a pound i'd be like "well whats the point in trying today"... and so on and so on! Since hiding my scales and only looking every week, its much better!

Well done for putting on muscle! Don't let those lying scales ruin your accomplishment! It's calorie burning muscle that's going to help you lose more fat! Now I just gotta try n do as well as you

Keep up the good work! We can do it!

Hopefully hear from ya very soon!
xXx
