Ticker help?

ticker factory

Ok...obviously I should be riding the short bus as everyone on the planet has one of these ticker factory things & I cannot seem to cut and paste mine..I made one tried to highlight it and copy it...cut doenst come up as a choice when i right click and then I go and try to paste it ...no dice! Help!
 
i hate tickerfactory ... makes posts 2x as long ... i'm tempted to disable images in the signitures, just because of those damn things ...
 
oh you cant! We like our tickers! They encourage us. It makes this whole experience a little more personal. We like our pics and tics! AND YOU! ;)
 
no worries ... i am in the process of building our own ticker program ... once that's done, I will incorporate it directly into the wl-table, so that it'll dynamically update when you update the table. I know how much everyone likes this new fad, so i just felt like ranting, not actually doing anything ;)
 
Phew! I thought you were going to take away our fun..... sad, how we have fun with something so ....... so....... silly?
What your planning on doing sounds cool, it will automatically change with the table... Niiiice!
 
OMG, I know, when I read that I was like "no don't take away my ticker!"!! LOL. Its silly I know, but it really does help to motivate me. I love to see my little ladybug move on up!

sorry to scare ya ;) ... i kind of hope it's just a fad :D ... or not, since i will be spending quite a bit of time building my own
 
Allcdnboy...... I hope you are not working too hard on the tickers. Seems like no one uses them anymore. Gee that was a QUICK fad! Unless we are all waiting for your version!

No, I disagree....I love my ticker!! If some tickers aren't being updated maybe weight loss has been slow lately??
 
i really hope it's a quick fad. But, it'd be cool to update your weight-loss in our forum weight loss table and have the ticker automatically update ...
 
ticker thing

Hi-
How do I change the ticker image to display weight loss? When I go into my profile it says image error or something like that, even though the image ticker thing appears under my name.... ? :confused:
 
I'm not real familiar with the ticker stuff, but when I wanted to display weight loss, I had to go and create a whole new ticker and then cut and paste the new URL into my signature box. I'm curious to know too if there is an easier way without having to start from scratch each time. I'll check back to see if you get the scoop.
 
Any time you want to change it, you have to start over. Also, don't use the EZ code. You need to use the BBcode or the html code.
 
To attach the ticker to your signature, I do this:

At the last page after you make your ticker,(on the ticker site) where you get to view it, underneath your ticker, there are URL's in different formats that you can cut and paste into your signature box on the weight loss forum. I think I used the html format or the bbCode. It says "Cut and paste code for most boards and web pages." So keep an eye out for that. Just cut it and paste it into signature page on your weight loss forum page, and click preview, that should work.
