Three Weeks In - Doing well

Hi Everyone,
Came back to proper nutrition 3 weeks ago. I have been eating a very good diet of whole grains, tons of fresh vegetables (greens and different colors), some dairy, and lean, lean meats. Have been regimented - but have also allowed myself 1 meal every two days that would resemble a bit of a cheat. I am getting ready to make this every three days in the future. Just trying to get better every day and to be reasonable. My first week was brutal as I felt dizzy and disoriented, but now I feel clarity and energy all the time. Sleeping better every single night and just feeling better about life. Never realized how many things I avoided and how little planning ahead I did socially because I was never sure how my moods would be based on my overeating. I have no goals for weight. I know what it feels like to see fat dropping off my face and body and that is exciting. Clothes are fitting better and I just feel better. Even feel better when I sit down in car or on couch. Used to worry about wearing things out.....it wasnt happening, just part of the diseased of food abuse. Hygiene, skin color, hair, nails and everything just looks better. Honestly, I seriously believe I have less grey hair than when I started three weeks ago. I am not a flaky person but I truly believe this. I must be carrying myself better as well, because pretty girls who stopped noticing me for a few years seem to want to engage in talking and smiling. I obviously feel better. Guys, I feel very good and am grateful for this opportunity.

Hey ,

Glad to see you feeling good about what you are doing. It is great to see guys getting themselves feeling better because it helps everybody else in your life. You would feel even better if objectively you were to get some numerical goals - like a goal weight for instance. Then you could even see measurable progress. Pick a goal weight and get yourself to put a plan in place to get there. Caution: you might enjoy the ride.

But if I had to choose it myself, feeling better is always is the best measure.

Cheers

Frank
