Just a quick note, I've been doing some research and decided to start slowly increasing my daily caloric intake, because I'm worried I'm eating too little. I think one of the reasons weight loss is so difficult for me is that I slowed my metabolism by eating too few calories for so many years (especially after the brief anorexia).
If I'm aiming to lose a pound a week (according to several sources) I should be eating about 1500 cals/day along with exercise.
I'm also having problems getting and staying full, and I think adding 200 cals/day is going to help. I'll go from having 250 calorie meals to 300 calorie meals.
I think it's also going to help me be able to eat more protein (turkey burgers, anyone?).
Anyway, I took some 'before' pics today... my first ever... and I'm horribly shocked at how bad I look! I have a problem with going into self-hate spirals but I'm keeping myself level by knowing that I power walked for an hour and fifteen minutes today, so I'm making progress.

(and drinking Hot Toddys!
I still get green (with envy) when I watch my little brother finish off a burrito the size of my head!

So even with all of the troubles, I'm still managing to have a happy attitude about my weight loss!
Thanks for the kind words, Xenon!

Such soft foods!
That's what i keep telling myself anyways and I have yet to be consistent lol
