Third times a charm?

Hello group,
Just started a new #&%*$!......Diet!
I have lost 60lbs twice before but have gained it back again plus. I am not alone this time, my 18yr old son is going to loose 100lbs with me. We are going to eat right and light, walk and eventually weight train. I have promised to help him see it through. His goal is to be 200lbs by graduation next May, my goal is to not let him down.
 
Hi zoo! Welcome to the forums! I too am fairly new, just finding this great site a week ago. I think you'll find it informative, supportive and motivating. It's great you have a partner in your son!

do read around the forum, especially the stickied threads, you'll get some great advice on a workout plan and on eating right... eating right, doesn't mean super low calorie :)

Welcome to the forum, do start yourself a diary/journal to keep track of your successes and challenges and have fun while you're here.
 
It's great that your son is losing weight with you. That will help. Try not to think of it as a diet maybe; try to eat in a way that you can maintain for a lifetime, that may stop the yo-yo.

Welcome to the forum. It is great you and your son will be doing this together. I fell it makes things alot easier to have some one to workout with and to help keep you on track. Good luck.
