thinking about getting a trainer

I'm not asking you to understand anything. I'm saying simply watch the vids. Turn down the damn volume if you'd like. The knees go in front of the toes.

You trying to keep them behind the toes is probably one of the biggest reasons why you've been having such a hard time.

I don't know anyone who can squat deep without breaking the toe-plane without falling over.

my knees go a little ahead of my toes - and it wasn't the falling over i was having ap roblem with -it was the getting down and getiting back up i didnt' care where my knees where -

I thought that when you said this:

Everything I read - correction -everything I read in language that was understandable - said knees do not go over the toes... and thighs go parallel to the floor.... easier said that done...

That you were worrying about your knees going too far forward... hence my previous statements.

I finally broke down and got a trainer at the end of May. I am lucky. It has (so far) been a very good experience for me. I luckily got an awesome trainer who knows what the hell is talking about. He is upfront with me and I am upfront with him. We get along very well. There are some trainers at the gym I go to who I know I wouldn't be enjoying. I have been seeing him twice a week. He's a badass:coolgleamA:

Good for you Sammy.....

Sounds like you're getting the results you're after with this trainer. As I've said before, a good trainer is worth his or her weight in gold, especially when you factor in the amount of goofball trainers out there.
