Thighs Burning

I joined a softball team for the Spring/Summer this year to help myself become more active. Of course I think I overdid it on Sunday and ran alot now my upper thighs are KILLING me. What can I do to make them feel better? I didn't walk today like I normally would hoping the pain will go away. Any suggestions?

stretching will help and unless it's a pain that's telling you something's wrong -- rather than jut over use -keep moving..

next time -stretch before softball and stretch afterwards
 
When I run I get pain, too. I am 10 lbs heavier than you, and speaking my experience - running with the weight we have on our bodies can lead to an extra ton of soreness and pain afterward! Make friends with a hot water bottle or heating pad, and ice the sore spots sometimes, too. Like Maleficent said, stretch really well before and after.
