Greetings all!
I used to religiously check this forum a few years back, and for some reason..just stopped.
I met some good people, got some great advice, and was able to lose 150lbs in around a year.
I've managed to keep the weight off (350lbs at my heaviest, sitting today at 201lbs) and add some much needed muscle!
I'm currently on a 'cut' to get my body fat % a little lower, before starting a recomp to add some more (still much needed) muscle, whilst trying to remain as lean as possible.
I am following the 'Leangains Intermittent Fasting' approach, as this fits in nicely with my lifestyle, and allows me to eat plenty of carbs on 'lifting' days
I gym 3 times a week, and follow 'Starting Strength', which basically focuses on the core compound exercises (Squats/Deadlifts/Bench etc).
I also do BJJ a couple of times a week when possible, although unfortunately my financial situation has taken a turn for the worse so this has had to take a back seat the last few months
.
Anyways, looking forward to getting to know some new people, learning more, and hopefully providing a little help and support where I can!
