The long stretch

So, I'm new here. Basically I'm 29 years old about to hit the big 3-O. I have had a crazy last 5 years and my weight has been crazy, too. After I graduated college I immediately put on 10 lbs. Then I gradually grew until I got up to 185. I lost some, I gained some and then I got pregnant and ballooned. When I had my son (7 months ago tomorrow), I made it up to 235. I was miserable. I lost the weight and now I'm back to 165. But now it's hard. I can't seem to get below the 160 mark, and I've lost a lot of my motivation. So, I'm here to get my motivation back. Lose the final 20 lbs, and get to 145. I want to get back into running again. I lost the motivation for that too after I wasn't able to run a half marathon I was training for due to an injury.

So here goes. 20 lbs. Running four times a week. Find a forum that will be supportive to post to.

I understand where youre coming from... Once i hit college gained 20 pounds!! now i'm here to lose that and more!! (hopefullyy) but even in high school i could never get under the 140 marker.... so thats my goal

Welcome to the forum. :)

Well the good news is, once you have your goals lined up, start posting in here (makes you part of something bigger that is all about health), and start being consistent.... the weight WILL come off.

I look forward to hearing more about you. And, if you haven't yet, I suggest starting a journal.

Have fun with this!

I just wanted to pop in and say welcome. I hope you find this forum as supportive as I have...not to mention inspiring!

I'm just like you. I need the motivation. Good thing there's this forum where you can find support.

All the best! :D
