Alright, I lifted last night. I am totally revising my workout scheduele with the thoughts of it being a marathon not a sprint (talk about clique). I am going to do more weight training am little less running. (I need my knees to last another 50 years. ) Also, my body responds a lot better to weight training then cardio at this point. Maybe its just because I can see instant results. I just really like to see new veins pop when I go pump the iron. So I will be doing the following routine until about February. Monday I will pump iron, upper body style. Tuesday I will either jog, do cardio machines or bike for 30-40 minutes. Wednesday I will workout my legs, and then do about 20 minutes of cardio machines. Thursday I will swim for 20-30 minutes. Friday pump upper body iron, Saturday 40 minute cardio. Its a good program, I will do well with it. Its a lot simplier. No goal tracking, no whatever, just having fun, burning fat. Then in February I will start tri-training again. Its too long to train for a tri for 25 weeks without being able to do one. Thats been part of my problem. That, and I just think you go through stages where you don't want to do the right thing. Its easy to fall into the trap after being sick. So at any rate, back to the gym, and lower the carbs.
